Overview

Did you know that the average-size church in America is only 76 people? And the average-size youth group is 8 students? Bigger is not always better in youth ministry! This day-long seminar will provide theological insight and practical tips for overcoming the challenges of youth ministry in a smaller church (defined as 150 or less in weekly worship). In fact, we’ll discuss ways to maximize the benefits of a more intimate-size group. Topics will include reaching critical mass, volunteer/parent development, multi-generational ministry and “desperate-for-details” organization… all sized for use in smaller youth ministry settings.
