Stillpoint Cohort 7 Session 4

This is the second session of an ongoing Stillpoint Class – session 3 of Cohort 7, March 12-19, 2018.  All participants must be previously authorized by the Stillpoint staff before registering (323) 340-8036).

Choose from the following CASA del SOL Accommodations

When you reside at Casa del Sol, you and the other guests will enjoy a large central patio overlooking Pedernal, a lovely living room area with table, chairs, and library, all on the western wing of the house. There is also a small kitchen, laundry facilities, and a handicap accessible bathroom (shower) adjacent to rooms #1 and #2 on this same wing. Rooms #3 -#7 surround the northern and eastern perimeters of the patio and have their entrances from that space. Each of the two shared/private bathrooms have a walk-in shower. Three small studio apartments “A”, “B”, and “C”, called “hermitages” are in a separate building nearby the main entrance to Casa del Sol.

IMPORTANT: All prices include tuition, lodging for 7 nights, and meal package (20 meals).

Rooms #1 – #7 all include a desk and chair, a bedside chair, a chest of drawers, and a fan in the summertime. The rooms? unique details are listed below.

• Room #1: Single bed, shared/private bath, with a northwest window that views the Gateway to Heaven chimneys. (Handicap accessible; single occupancy) $2570
• Room #2: Two single beds, shared/private bath with sink in-room. Northern exposure with view of Gateway to Heaven chimneys. (double occupancy) $2395
• Room #3: Large room with two single beds, and a bed loft accessed by a ladder, which by day sits under the Gateway to Heaven chimneys and by night offers a sleeping under the stars canopy? shared/private bath, extended-height ceiling. (double occupancy) $2395
• Room #4: Double bed, shared/private bath with northern exposure viewing Gateway to Heaven chimneys. Adjoins rm #5. (single occupancy) $2570
• Room #5: One queen and one single bed? large private bath has tub and walk-in shower. Northern and eastern exposures. Adjoins rm #4. (double occupancy) $2570
• R00m #6: Queen bed with private bath (shower). Eastern exposure? adjoins rm# 7. (double occupancy) $2745
• R00m #7: Large room with two twin beds, shared/private bath. Eastern and southern exposure with view of Jemez Mountains. (double occupancy) $2395

Hermitage Rooms A – C (All Hermitages have leather recliners, ceiling fans, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and private bath with walk-in showers with seats. (A, B, and C single occupancies)

• Hermitage A: Double bed, facing parking area and main entrance to Casa del Sol. $2895
• Hermitage B: Single bed. Semi-private patio on northern exposure with view of Gateway to Heaven chimneys. $2895
• Hermitage C: Single bed. Semi-private patio with northern and western exposures with view of Gateway to Heaven chimneys. (The most private of all Casa del Sol rooms). $2895

Registration for all workshops and retreats closes two weeks prior to the start date so that we can be adequately prepared for your arrival. Please note that our workshop price structure packages your tuition, course materials, lodging and meals together in a single rate. Prices are presented for each of the types of lodging available for the workshop you select. Some art workshops will have an additional list of course materials and supplies that can be purchased or you will be asked to bring with you.

• Note:  Some courses (especially studio courses and plein air painting courses) can carry an additional material list or expense.

All rates are Per Person, Double Occupancy unless otherwise specified. Single Occupancy: Single occupancy rooms may be reserved for an additional $50 per night when space is available. The fee will be charged when space is confirmed. Single occupancy lodging is generally not available during June and July. If you are a single person and do not specify a roommate, a roommate of the same gender will be assigned to share your lodging space or you can request the single occupancy and be charged the supplement of an additional $50 per night (based on availability).
