Paris—the City of Light—is a feast for the senses, stunning us with its art, architecture, beauty and historic treasures. It is also home to several surprising new centers of contemplative awareness and mission, which bring their own special light to this urban context. This joining of the ancient and new creates a powerful spiritual landscape for transformation and renewal. It invites our prayer and deepening trust in the Spirit’s surprising movements among us.

Our days in Paris will include visits to museums, churches and other historic sites; worship with two of the new contemplative communities; guided prayer times in our pilgrim community; and spacious free time to make our own discoveries.  Different from the tourist-urgency to do and see everything, we will practice the art of going slowly.  Our contemplative pilgrimage invites us to take our time and reflect deeply on the light of God’s Spirit that is revealed in the masterpiece that is Paris and in our own lives.

We hope you will join us for this contemplative journey in the City of Light and that it will nourish your spiritual heart, open your eyes to fresh possibilities and callings, and deepen your courage and trust in the Spirit’s presence among us.
