D.A.R.E. + Great Work
27 April 2014 – 2 May 2014
There is room for all who have a passion to continue to restore the Centre – indoors and outdoors. This spring work week has a variety of projects. We provide orientation, stretching and spiritual pauses, refreshment breaks, all lunches – and dinner on Thursday to celebrate the work and gifts of this industrious community.
Here’s a sample of what we have in the job jar this year:
- Weeding – the sacred garden, flower beds, labyrinth
- Tending the enormous new Farm Garden
- Recovering chair seats
- Painting (outside) East Court 21-28
- Cleaning fans and screens
- Campground landscaping
- Signage updating
- …and more
Work and laugh all morning and afternoon. Prepare your own breakfasts and suppers, or book in for meals in our dining room (breakfast $10.50ea, dinner $21.00 ea).
Registration is now open.
Ends on Friday at 1:00 pm
We invite you to rest in the arms of Naramata for personal restoration and retreat beyond this week. $88.00 per night (space permitting; includes meals and accommodation).
