Common Life Community Annual Gathering 2018

  Apr 20 – Apr 21, 2018 Fri 1:30 PM – Sat 4:00 PM $145.00
“It is here, in the Common Life community, that I am challenged and supported to examine and adjust my spiritual practice and my engagement in the world.” – Common Life member

The Common Life Annual Gathering is a highlight of the Common Life Maritimes network, where groups gather in their regions to build community through mutual support, learning and celebration of life. We welcome anyone interested in exploring the formation of a Common Life group in their area. At this time of profound change within the institutional church, many people are finding deep meaning in small committed groups.

Common Life is for those who seek:

– A local living faith experience that challenges and supports you

– A supportive group to explore & find contemporary meaning within the Christian faith

– A community where you enrich your commitment to right living

– A safe and trusting community to deepen your personal life journey

Common Life is an initiative of the United Church Education Centres. Local groups include people of various denominations and no denominations. They meet regularly to reflect on their engagement with five areas of commitment:

Engagement for Justice

• Attending to the Spirit

• Dedication to Learning within the Christian tradition

• Commitment to Community

• Retreat
