In the middle of the town of Pangnirtung stand the former St. Luke’s Mission Hospital and associated church buildings, most of them clad in the drab gray shingles typical of Anglican buildings in the Arctic. The old hospital now houses the Arthur Turner Training school, where Inuit Catechists, Lay Leaders, and Deacons from throughout the Diocese of The Arctic are trained.
