LARSN Conference 2016 – Registration Open

The 2016 LARSN Conference will be held on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th May 2016 at the School of Law and Politics at Cardiff University and will be organised by Dr Russell Sandberg and Caroline Roberts.

Registration is now open for LARSN and other activities as part of the Cardiff Festival of Law and Religion on May 5th and 6th at Cardiff University. This celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of the LLM in Canon Law at Cardiff University, the first degree of its type in a British University since the Reformation.

A number of events are being held to reflect upon how the study of Law and Religion has developed over the last twenty-five years and the likely future trajectory. This includes the 2016 Law and Religion Scholars Network (LARSN) Conference, a keynote address by Professor David Little, a celebratory dinner and the launch of F Cranmer, M Hill, C Kenny and R Sandberg (ed) The Confluence of Law and Religion: Interdisciplinary Reflections on the Work of Norman Doe (Cambridge University Press, 2016).

The programme for the event is available here
(Please note that the programme will be updated with further details over the coming weeks)

Registration for the Festival is now available and should be completed online at: https://www.eventsforce.net/cbs/192/home

The registration fee for the conference will be £20.00 for one day or £30.00 for both days. Unfortunately, the Centre is unable to provide administrative support or cover costs for transport and accommodation. If you need any information about travel and hotels in Cardiff you may find this website helpful: http://www.visitcardiff.com/

Please register at the same time if you wish to attend the dinner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the LLM in Canon Law on the Friday night. The cost for this will be £25.00.  We can only accommodate a maximum of 75 at the conference dinner.  Places will be allocated first come, first served.
