Winter Session

In a fast paced world, Winter Session for Young Adults is a breathing space…

8 January 2014 – 28 March 2014

Winter Session at the Centre is a time to step back and consider life’s directions, to explore spirituality, to learn about yourself and community, and to engage in meaningful volunteer service.Winter Session is a community of young adults committed to supporting one another’s growth and learning, of sharing in meals and understanding how to live a daily life in harmony with our world. You can ask questions about your own life purpose, learn new skills in communication, self-awareness, spirituality and leadership. A graduate from Winter Session 2008 shared what winter session was for them.Skilled Leaders and Community Elders will share their passion about life and they will create a space for you to explore and be supported as you begin to mold and shape your own understanding and desires.

Winter Session at Naramata Centre began in the late 1940’s and has evolved over the years to respond to an ever evolving society. It has proven to be instrumental in the lives of over a thousand young adults in helping them to discern the ways they can live their life. A recent participant shared why they came to Winter Session.
